Birthday: Jan 07, Lauren Cohan was born in in Pennsylvania and spent the early years of her life in New Jersey. However, at a young age, she moved to her mother's home country of the United Kingdom, where she spent her formative years. According to Cohan, she's "American by birth; English by accent," and she eventually attended the English school the University of Winchester. She began modeling around that time, but as she studied drama in school, her tastes turned heavily towards acting. She co-founded a theater company in school and upon graduation, toured with the company for a time.

Lauren Cohan born January 7,  is a British-American  actress best known for her role as Maggie Greene in the horror television series The Walking Dead —; —present. Her film appearances include the comedy Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj , the psychological thriller horror The Boy , the biographical drama All Eyez on Me , and the action thriller Mile 22 Cohan was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and raised there until age 13,    when her family moved to her mother's native United Kingdom ,  settling in Surrey. Lauren's surname was legally changed to that of her stepfather, Cohan, and her mother converted to Judaism when she remarried.
And her time battling zombies may not be over. We spoke to Cohan about her decision to move on, and the uncertainty as to whether we will ever see Maggie Rhee again on The Walking Dead. What was at the root of that decision for you? I honestly just was looking at this on a multitude of personal levels, and it just made the most sense for me to do this.
